In 1928, Mickey Mouse made his debut in the Walt Disney Company's animated short,
Steamboat Willie and went on to make his debut on a Mickey Mouse watch in 1933
- the first Disney watch ever made. Mickey pointed out the time with his little arms and hands. It also
had, at the 6 spot, 3 little Mickey's, painted on a disk, that rotated
and acted as the seconds hand. At the time, you could purchase
this Mickey Mouse watch for $2.95 or the pocket watch
version for $1.50! Mickey Mouse went on to be featured in over 120 different Walt Disney cartoons, as well as 100's of Disney Mickey Mouse watch styles.
